Thinking of a name for this quilt: maybe Olympic Mountains Majesty? Inspired by this and other photos of the lovely Olympic Mountains on the Olympic Peninsula in my home state of Washington? (And not, of course, meaning any denigration to the U.S. athletes competing in a sporting event to be held soon, but meaning a great deal of denigration to the corporation devoted to marketing and commercializing their efforts.)

Gearing up for the Tour de Fleece starting soon... I'll be adding a lot more yarn yardage then. And then hopefully knitting it all up in the competition formerly known as the Ravelympics.
I just started working on this one too! Love it!
Lovely--and the Olympic mountains pic is perfect inspiration. Btw, I totally agreed with your earlier post re: ravelympics
Regarding starch, have you tried liquid, non-aerosol Niagra? You can get it at Wlamart or Fred Meyer and some Target stores. I buy it 2 or 3 bottles at a time. It doesn't build upon the bottom of your iron like aerosol starch does.
They are really really pretty blocks! I don't have much purple in my stash, though I sure wear a lot of it!
Your purple project is real nice. Purple happens to be one of the two (other being yellow) that I don't have much of in my stash. Not sure why that is. The photograph is really nice and the name you're thinking to use is perfect. Keep up the good Stash Reports! Sandi
