Spinners

They were so pretty this morning, outlined in fog and mist, as we were waiting for Tertia's bus.
A bit difficult to capture on camera, maybe.
Sometimes three layered closely over each other, but the spinners themselves were in hiding.
They say you're never more than a few feet from a spider.
There must be hundreds of them, but this morning I didn't see a single one.  They seem to have the good sense to stay under shelter in the cold early mornings.
But clearly, someone has been getting more spinning done than I have lately.

By late afternoon, each web had its guardian spider sitting in the middle again.

I love those! The one time we had enough dew drops (and they were so beautiful in the streetlight!), it was 5 am and dark and the pictures didn't come out. Yours are gorgeous, though!
