Spring is coming!

You can tell by the quilt Grandma made.  Isn't it adorable?  The bunny tails are stuffed with batting to make them poofier.
The yardwork season begins.  Loading the new wheelbarrow (my Christmas gift to Steve) with brush.  Of course there were a few rides for the girls as well.
Crocuses...
... and Daphne odora.  It will be extremely fragrant in a few more days.  I discovered in December that you can cut the twigs and force them to bloom in a vase of water, but they are very messy and drop petals and leaves all over.
Those daffodils may look very sedate right now, but just wait a week or two.  They'll be taking over our front yard.

Kathy, I am so very excited to see my first daffodil transplants from you at the same stage as yours! What a treat. Thank you very much for those. I will enjoy them forever!
